Construction worker severs both legs in Roslyn Heights

Officers with the Nassau County Police Department were dispatched to aid an injured construction worker at a worksite near the intersection of Locust and Corncrib lanes in Roslyn Heights just after 8:00 a.m. on Feb. 13.When they arrived on the scene, they found a 39-year-old construction worker in a 10-feet-deep manhole.
